Are you having the insulation pulled over your eyes?

Have a look at this table below and see what the minimum requirements are for insulation in your area according to each product's R-value



For example in Nelspruit (Climatic Zone 3) you need either 100mm Aerolite or 100mm Cellulose Fibre loose fill or 120mm Isotherm to help reach required  minimum R-value of 2.7 in this area.

Make sure your installer is committing to these regulations. You are paying for it after all and the correct insulation will save you thousands of ZAR each year on your electricity bills.
