Teaming up with Guardian Angels

On 15th March, The Guardian Angels, invited us to assist them at the golf day held at White River Country Estate.

It was an event held to raise money for their volunteer organisation which takes care of the elderly and sick, by
  • Visiting them at their homes
  • Offering transport
  • Hosting functions
  • Organising fund raisers
  • and more
Aeropink Nelspruit would like to thank the Guardian Angels for including us in their fund raising golf day. We wish you all the success you deserve.

Quickest way to save money on your energy bills

Checking your home’s insulation is one of the fastest and most cost- effective ways to use a whole-house approach to reduce energy waste and make the most of your energy dollars. A good insulating system includes a combination of products and construction techniques that protect a home from outside hot or cold temperatures, protect it against air leaks, and control moisture.

You can increase the comfort of your home while reducing your heating and cooling needs by investing in proper insulation and sealing air leaks.

First, check the insulation in your ceilings to see if it meets the levels recommended for your area. Insulation is measured in R-values—the higher the R-value, the better your walls and roof will resist the transfer of heat.

Are you having the insulation pulled over your eyes?

Have a look at this table below and see what the minimum requirements are for insulation in your area according to each product's R-value

For example in Nelspruit (Climatic Zone 3) you need either 100mm Aerolite or 100mm Cellulose Fibre loose fill or 120mm Isotherm to help reach required  minimum R-value of 2.7 in this area.

Make sure your installer is committing to these regulations. You are paying for it after all and the correct insulation will save you thousands of ZAR each year on your electricity bills.
